Schools Suck! Here’s Why: The Education Disconnect

Published on March 16, 2016 by

Here’s why the American school system is failing and how endless volumes of cash have made the problem worse.  Listen as I explain where things went wrong, why politicians refuse to address the real issues plaguing the system, and how much worse things may get before they get better.

The US Department of Education has almost single-handedly guaranteed millions of American children into a prison of sub-standard learning, onset by teachers’ unions that make it all but impossible to fire bad teachers, as well as do-nothing parents that rarely take an active role in their child’s learning.

The two-headed monster is apathy and indifference, book-ended by teachers and parents wholly unfit and unqualified to manage the system, allows for politicians to prostitute for election votes by promising to fix the problem with other peoples’ money.

Unfortunately, it hasn’t worked for 50 years and will never work because the entire premise that money is the most-important driver of a quality education is not supported by legitimate non-partisan data.
